Job Description
-Understand the product functionality.
-Identify code impact and create detailed design document based on high level design document.
-Participate in high level design document discussions and gain understanding. (Senior resource with good telecom exposure can prepare high level design as well).
-Coding based on detailed technical design inline with quality standards.
-Preparing JUnit test cases and measuring the code coverage.
-Resolving issues raised by Component System test and Product System test.
-Coding in Java/J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB)
-Using Struts framework for Webtier functionality.
-Working knowledge on Weblogic, ant.
-Prepare case/sequence diagrams using tools like Rose/Poseidon/Visual Paradigm. (Optional)
-Willing to do analysis/quality coding.
-Prepare quality design documents.
-Build subject matter expertise and take ownership of issues raised in that area.
Desired Profile
-Candidate would be responsible for verifying the process compliance and assessing the quality of the product developed for multiple software development projects for various Business Units.
-He/She will be involved in the entire cycle of the projects through reviews of deliverables.
